From "Just Trying It Out" to "Maybe I Should Sell These?"

From "Just Trying It Out" to "Maybe I Should Sell These?"

They say the best things in life happen when you stop overthinking and just start doing.

Lately, I’ve been diving into a new creative outlet: handmade jewelry design. What started as a quiet way to decompress on the weekends has quickly turned into a full-blown obsession with textures, patterns, and the perfect "pop" of color.

The First "Proof of Concept"

I recently finished these blue floral drop earrings, and honestly? I’m a little in love with how they turned out. There’s something so incredibly satisfying about taking raw materials and shaping them into something wearable.

What I'm loving about this process:

• The Focus: It’s like a form of meditation. When I’m working on a design, the rest of the world goes quiet.

• The Uniqueness: No two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each one has its own little personality.

• The Potential: Seeing a finished pair hanging there makes me think... could this be more than just a hobby?

What’s Next?

I’m still in the "mad scientist" phase—experimenting with different techniques and seeing what sticks. But the ultimate goal? I’d love to eventually expand my shop and share these pieces with all of you.

For now, I’m just enjoying the learning curve and the messy, beautiful process of creating something from scratch.

Love

Molly
